Set in the mature spruce and aspen forest, the nine-hole Chitek Lake Golf Course offers a total family golf experience. The natural contours provide for rolling fairways and protected greens. The course is home to a variety of woodpecker species and a multitude of other birds. The proximity of the course to the Northern Boreal forest, frequently provides the golfer with sightings of whitetail deer, fox kits and on occasion an opportunity to share play with a resident ball-knapping fox.

Only one-half hour north of Spiritwood, Chitek Lake is a leisurely 2 ½ hour drive from Saskatoon or Lloydminister.

Chitek Lake itself offers a superb setting for water recreation and relaxation. This beautiful lake is renowned for it's excellent Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. Two large campgrounds and a number of sand beaches are an alluring attraction for the family outing. For the other vacationers, cabin rentals and hotel accommodations are available lakeside.

Location: The course is located 2 km south of the resort village of Chitek Lake off Highway 24 north of Spiritwood.

Services: A pro shop with equipment rental, power carts and food service are available. Nearby accomdoation includes Chamakese Resort, Little Pine Lodge and Chitek Lake Inn.

Green Fees: GST included - Day rate Adult $25, 9 holes $15 ; Dayrate junior $18, nine holes $10.

All rates subject to change.

Public Tee Times: Dawn to Dusk, seven days a week.
