Canada's first interprovincial park with 1,436 m altitude has some of the highest hills east of the Rockies. The lodgepole pine forest and animal species make this park biologically unique, so don't be surprised to see deer or even moose on the course. There are also 700 species of plants including rare orchids, plus 220 species of birds. The Cypress Park Resort Inn, located near the core area, is the southwest's premier four-season accommodation for retreats, conferences, reunions and weddings. Cypress Hills Golf Course is located only a few kilometers from the core area of Cypress Hills Park which offers a variety of facilities and great recreation opportunities. Services include a swimming pool with an indoor sauna and whirlpool complex, paddleboat and canoe rental for Loch Leven, hiking trails, horseback riding and great camping with 161 electrical and 218 non-electrical sites.
Location: Cypress Hills Provincial Park is a half hour south of Highway 1. Take Highway 21 South of Maple Creek. The course is located a couple of kilometers from the park core area.
