After a round, you will find that many Greenbryre Country Club golfers comment "it’s a great walk in a beautiful prairie park." The course is set in a peaceful, well-treed area on the south-east fringe of the city of Saskatoon. This classic 18-hole course, designed by executive professional Peter Semko, was created 26 years ago with the aim of providing an affordable public golf facility in a country club setting. It’s motto, "Where golf and nature both found a home."

Greenbryre places a premium on club selection and accuracy. Greens vary is size from 4,500 to 8,000 square feet. Many native bluffs accentuate the gentle roll of the fairways in additon to more than 5,000 planted trees. The 40 sand bunkers provide definition and that extra bit of challenge. An added bonus to your golf is watching a variety of ducks, grebes or goslings paddling in water ponds which are surrounded by nesting redqings and yellowheads. Songbirds such as warblers, orioles, waxwings and threshers are just some of the wildlife you will find.

Another unqiue aspect of Greenbryrye is the family tradition - the club has been created, owned and operated by the Semko family of Saskatoon for more than 25 years. The course was established and designed by Peter Semko and operated with the help of his wife Sherrill, sons David and Jay and daughter Shauna. Location: The course is located one half a kilometre south off Highway 16 on the Boychuk Drv. exit.

Services: Driving range, power carts, club rentals, fitting and repairs, practice area with two practice greens, separate green with bunkers for chipping and sand practice licensed snack bar, golf shop, clubhouse with lounge, outdoor patio and BBQ facilities. Greenbryre is home of the David Semko School of Golf, a teacher and coach for the past 18 years and devotee of David Leadbetter.

Green Fees: Adult 9-holes for $19, 18-holes for $33.50. Twilight $24 after 3 p.m. seven days a week. Also, 9 for 9 special, $9 for the back nine between 6-7 a.m. Monday to Friday. For seniors, 9-holes for $15.50, 18-holes for $26. Juniors $19 for 18-holes and $11.50 for 9-holes. Bookings four days in advance. All prices include taxes, PST and GST.
