Shellbrook, Saskatchewan is renowned as a great sports town. Provincial hockey, softball, and curling championships, as well as National and World acclaim, mark this beautiful town as one who takes pride in their sporting accomplishments. Golf is no different! The Shellbrook Golf Course is home to hundreds of avid golfers. With that, comes the perseverance and dedication to provide golfers with a fun and challenging nine-hole golf course experience. This popular par 35, fully irrigated, course is laid out with narrow fairways, and some of the most well manicured greens around! The course is laid out along a rail-line and most of the holes consist of contoured fairways, surrounded by poplar and spruce trees. A creek runs through two of the holes. Accuracy is the key to shooting a good score. A variety of par 3, 4, and 5’s provide a shot-maker’s delight! This golf course is fully licensed, so one can enjoy cool beverages of choice while enjoying your rounds of golf. A clubhouse lounge, the “Sand-Trap”, welcomes you with a menu of great food and refreshments at any time, even if you’re not golfing! All of your golfing equipment needs can also be conveniently met at the pro-shop, just steps away from the food and drink. When in need of a warm-up or some practice, a Driving Range and Practice green, are also available a short walk away from the Sand Trap lounge. This golf club urges all golfers of all ages and abilities to experience the good golf, the wonderful people, and the hospitality provided in Shellbrook. Group, family, and business functions are welcome. For visitors with RV’s, the town provides an RV facility just a short drive from the golf course (contact town office and/or internet link below for details).
Location: The town of Shellbrook is located approximately 45km West of Prince Albert along Hwy. 55. The course is located on the Southwest corner of town. Driving south, follow 2nd St. West to the railroad tracks, then the first turn right at the Shellbrook Golf Club sign. Ample parking and a cart unload ramp are available. Services: Pro-shop, driving range, carts and clubs rental, licensed food service and lounge facility, barbeque patio, Handicap Index computer. Green Fees: Adult $15 for 9 holes. $26 for 18 holes, tax included.
