The town of Warman was born in 1905 when the CNR runnning from Humboldt to North Battleford intersected with the CPR running from Regina to Prince Albert. Today, this thriving community at the junction of Highways 11 and 305, is much more than a bedroom community of nearly 4,000 residents just 10 minutes north of Saskatoon. It boasts a full range of services including the community-owned Warman Golf Course established in 1984 on the southern outskirts.

While the Warman Golf Course is close to Saskatoon off a twinned highway, it offers small town prices and a friendly atmosphere attractive to beginners, couples and bogey golfers. The beautiful 36-par course plays 3,010 yards from the men's and 2,747 yards from the women's tees. An enjoyable golf course for all to play; considered challenging enough for the avid golfer and friendly enough for the beginner. One unique aspectof the course is the birdlife - everything from robins to meadow larks - and the birdhouses found on each hole which double as 150-yard markers.

Golfers and non-golfers can also enjoy various communitiy facilities and three parks including the Warman Lions Park There are nearby soccer pitches, ball diamonds, play structures, a waterpark, tennis courts, outdoor basketball court, beach volleyball court and a RV Park. The newly renovated Warman Hotel has fully modern rooms equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and cozy stay.

Location: The course is located in the southwest of Warman, just 10 minutes from Saskatoon on double lane highway at the junction of Highway 11 and 305.

Services: Power carts, club rentals, driving range, clubhouse features a pro shop and licensed food service.Specializes in catering barbecues to group functions up to 64.

Green Fees: $14 for nine holes and $25 for 18 holes includes tax.

Public Tee Times: Dawn to Dusk, seven days a week.     Season: April through October

Major Tournament: Fundraisers for M.A.D.D (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), the Ostomy Association, the Northeastern Firefighters.
