|White Bear Lake Golf Course, Carlyle|
When you "Challenge the Bear", you play one of the top-rated courses in Saskatchewan in the scenic Moose Mountains near Carlyle. The 18-hole championship track is famous for its white silica sand - trucked in from Golden, B.C. - and its white birch forest. This soft spike course opened in 1985 and is part of White Bear Lake Resort located near the shores of White Bear Lake.
At 5,403 yards to 6,723 yards off three sets of tees, the Bear offers a well-treed, full-length course suitable for all levels of golfers. The long challenging fairways, bentgrass greens and the only white silica sand bunkers in southern Saskatchewan combine to give a most enjoyable golf experience. White Bear Lake Golf Course also provides full practice facilities, a driving range and putting green. The log clubhouse contains a lounge, restaurant and pro shop that can cater to individual golfers as well as tournaments.
