The Willows Club

The Willows Club remains one of Saskatoon’s most enjoyable places to play golf, combining a thoughtfully varied 27-hole layout with welcoming club culture, strong league participation, and conditions that consistently reward good shots. For 2026, the $80 adult green fee rate is ideally priced for the overall experience, particularly when the greens remain dependable throughout the season and the course continues to offer a genuine challenge from tee to green.

General Manager Mike Cyndroski arrived for the 2026 season and instantly heightened the overall guest and member experience. With high end club experience gained at golf facilities in British Columbia, Cyndroski has already left an imprint on the evolving golf course and entire Willows community.

The most impressive feature of The Willows Club is the consistency of the golf course conditions. From the early part of the golf season through the final rounds of fall, golfers can expect putting surfaces that are well maintained, true, and enjoyable to read.

Many top charity golf events are hosted at The Willows Club due to their tournament hosting expertise, ideal amenities and reliable course setup and conditions. These events include the Synergy 8 Community Builders Drive For Kids, Saskatoon Red Jacket Classic in support of Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan and Golf for Wishes.

At $80 for an adult green fee round in 2026, The Willows Club offers a well-balanced golf experience. The fee is perfectly aligned for a course with dependable seasonal conditions, a varied 27-hole setup, a meaningful tee-shot challenge, quality dining options, and a lively club atmosphere.

Golfers should not mistake the course’s welcoming atmosphere for an easy round. The Willows Club can challenge players immediately from the tee boxes, with several holes demanding accurate drives rather than simply maximum distance. The three nine-hole combinations also give the club variety. The current layout features the Bridges, Lakes, and Xena nines, creating different possible rounds and helping prevent the course from feeling repetitive. The Willows Club is a 27-hole classic designed to challenge both novice and accomplished golfers.

The Willows Club is more than a place to book a tee time. Their leagues are very popular, and that says a great deal about the atmosphere of the club. League play gives golfers a regular reason to return, meet new playing partners, improve their games, and become part of the broader Willows community.

That social element is especially valuable for golfers who want more than occasional public play. Whether the goal is competitive golf, friendly rivalry, or simply a dependable weekly round, the leagues add energy to the season. The result is a club environment that feels active without being intimidating. Golfers can take their game seriously while still enjoying the camaraderie that makes a Saskatchewan golf season memorable.

A strong team of PGA of Canada Professionals provide Cyndroski and the members with reliable, high level pro shop customer service each and every visit, including Hannah McNeil, Brandon Ho, Zach Taylor and Cody Callaway. The supporting pro shop and guest services staff are equally welcoming, having first hand experience from watching the PGA of Canada Professionals in action all season long.

With one of the largest, well stocked pro shops in all of Saskatchewan, golfers will want to spend some time browsing the perfectly merchandised shop.

Visiting golfers will want to plan their rounds in and around being able to sit down at the Irons Kitchen & Patio and enjoy a satisfying meal on one of the best golf course patios in all of Saskatchewan. On a sunny day, which are plenty in Saskatchewan, nothing beats a cold beverage and good company on a peaceful golf course patio.

Looking Ahead at The Willows Club

The Willows Club is entering an important period in its long-term development. General Manager Mike Cyndroski provided the following update in September, 2026:

“Following continued planning and discussions surrounding the future development of The Willows Club, we can confirm that the Club will continue to operate as a 27-hole golf course for the 2027 season. For our members, this means the golf experience in 2027 will remain consistent with what you enjoy today, with all 27 holes continuing to be available for play.

Importantly, our long-term vision for The Willows Club has not changed.

As many of you have already seen, work is underway on four holes located on the former Island 9. Wilco Contractors has begun site preparation and grading, representing another tangible step forward in the development of our future Doug Carrick-designed championship golf course. We will continue to provide updates as this work progresses and as future timelines become clearer.

Beyond golf, the long-term vision for The Willows includes the addition of a pool and splash pad, pickleball courts, and other family-focused amenities designed to create a more complete Club experience. Our goal remains to continue the evolution of The Willows toward a fully private club in 2030.”

That update from General Manager Mike Cyndroski provides welcome clarity for golfers planning ahead: The 27-hole experience will continue through the 2027 season, while the club works toward a broader long-term vision.

For golfers in Saskatoon and visitors looking for a satisfying round, The Willows Club is an easy top recommendation. The greens provide dependable quality, the tee shots demand thought and precision, the leagues create a strong sense of community, and the $80 adult green fee is on the mark for what the club delivers in 2026. It is a course that can welcome developing golfers, test accomplished players, and keep regulars coming back week after week.
